Editorial Intern

Greenide is a new and fast-growing news & media website that informs, inspires and entertains people. Our HQ is in Istanbul but interns will not be needed there. Candidates are expected to be non-native speakers who are willing to learn English by taking an active responsibility for a website. Even if we are looking for candidates to improve their English, they need to have certain level to be able to write articles in English.

We are looking for a versatile, hard-working, and talented intern who is passionate about our brand to join our editorial team. Our intern will have the opportunity to learn the inner workings of an online media company, including content creation, social media marketing and decision making.

Qualifications:

- Minimum English requirements:
TOEFL IBT: 85
TOEFL Paper-based: 223
IELTS: 6.5
- Must be currently enrolled in college; master's students will also be considered.
- Interest in the online editorial field.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of social media.
- Working knowledge of Photoshop is a plus.

Responsibilities:

- There are certain ways to provide content for Greenide. Editorial interns will be introduced to these methods when they're accepted for the position. Interns will create content for Greenide.
- Supporting editorial and social teams in populating Greenide social accounts.
- Researching and creating basic content as needed.
- Researching and finding images for posts as needed.
- Assisting with other special projects and events as needed.
